My Yoga Week
Hi, my name is Jasmin.
Looking back into my own ‘life story’ it is easy to realize how much of a pillar Yoga has always been for me over the years: it kept my body healthy after the end of my tennis career. It helped me stay productive & positive in some of the most intense and fast-moving work environments. And it allowed me to prepare for the birth of my wonderful son, both physically and mentally.
Having spent most of my adult life in multinational companies, software startups, or strategy consulting firms, I know how quickly one tends to prioritize everything and everybody but oneself. One of the most frequent statements I heard from my colleagues was “my day doesn’t have enough hours to make myself a priority”. Yoga helped me to disagree. As a source of mindfulness, a means of building & maintaining physical strength and resilience, or just to clear my mind before or after a busy day, it empowered me to focus on myself – every single day.
Now, as a mum, this is more important to me than ever. A little time out where I AM A PRIORITY, where I can calm down, reflect, and regain strength. And I want you to experience this focus on YOURSELF as well.
My classes are built on 4 pillars:
Flexibility & Balance
In addition, every class has a dedicated physical emphasis (e.g., core, twists & turns, back & shoulders) or mental focus (appreciation, acceptance, energy). I especially love to integrate different yoga and fitness elements to provide you with exciting but also somehow challenging classes. Still, my classes are designed for participants of ALL levels.
